Whirly-Girls Memorial Flight Training Scholarship
Scholarship Description
This scholarship honors and represents all of our Whirly-Girls and Associate Members who are now “hovering in heaven.” It is provided by the Whirly-Girls Scholarship Fund with a total value of $8,000. This scholarship may be applied towards a Whirly-Girl upgrading or advancing her current helicopter rating.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Must be a female.
2. Must be a helicopter pilot with at least a private pilot certificate/license.
3. Must be upgrading or advancing her current helicopter rating. (Typically applied toward Commercial, Instrument, Instructor, ATP, or Turbine Transition Training.).
4. Must be a member in good standing at the time of application submission, award of scholarship, and during scholarship training, and must have joined the Whirly-Girls no later than September 26th of the current year.
5. Scholarship training must be completed by December 31st of the following year.
