Wings Over 35 Scholarship
Scholarship Description
The Wings over 35 Scholarship is designed to promote general aviation among men and women over the age of 35 and aid in attaining certification as a Private Pilot. Applicants must explain their goals in aviation and what they have done thus far towards attaining that goal. Address financial need in your essay. All proceeds will be paid directly to the flight school of their choice and must be used within a year of receiving the award.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Must be a member of WAI.
2. Must be over the age of 35.
3. Do NOT currently hold a Private Pilot’s License.
4. Have a desire to pursue higher ratings.
5. Have a financial need.
6. Hold a third class medical.
