Aviation Scholarship

Tuskegee Airmen Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Award

$1,000

Scholarship Description

This scholarship is made possible by a contribution from Col Conway B. Jones, Jr. in honor of the Tuskegee Airmen, a group of African-American airmen who fought in World War II at a time when racial segregation was practiced in the military and much of society in general. Their extraordinary legacy as dauntless trailblazers is captured in the Air Force refrain that challenges souls dreaming of skies to conquer to give us wings, ever to soar. In their spirit, this scholarship is offered to Air and Space Force personnel and their families to pursue and conquer their challenges.

This scholarship is open to current and former members of the Air and Space Forces to include Active Duty, Air National Guard, and Reservists as well as their spouses, children, and dependents. The scholarship may be applied to undergraduate or graduate degrees at a college or university or to pilot training towards a private pilot’s license at a flight training facility.

Eligibility Requirements

1. If you are a current or recent high school, college, or university student, an unofficial transcript is required with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.

3. Must provide a copy of your, your spouse’s, or your parent’s/guardian’s DD214 or proof of military service such as a front and back copy of a military ID card.
