The Planesmen Aircraft Technician /Maintenance Program (ATP/AMP) Scholarship
Scholarship Description
The Planesmen Aircraft Technician/Maintenance Program (ATP/AMP) Scholarship is granted to an applicant attending an accredited ATP/AMP school. The applicant must be seeking education in ATP/AMP, Airframe and Powerplant, or Avionics Technician.
Eligibility Requirements
1) Have been an AMA member for 36 continuous months prior to the February 2nd application deadline.*
2) Indicate an anticipated major or trade, as well as the colleges, universities, and or trade schools to which the applicant has applied.
3) Agree to submit a W-9 form if awarded an AMA scholarship or award.
- Test scores for SAT and/or ACT tests are required for select scholarships.
- To be considered, all graduating high school seniors must provide official transcript and a reference from a school official.
- *Note: All membership benefits begin on the day of receipt at AMA Headquarters of a properly completed member enrollment form and dues payment.
