The NDAA Scholarship
Scholarship Description
In 2020, the NDAA established a fund to provide financial assistance to High School Juniors, Seniors or recent GED recipients who plan to pursue advanced education in the field of aviation. Students planning to attend post-secondary education in the areas of Professional Pilot, Aviation Maintenance, Aviation Engineering, Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Airport/Aviation Management, Atmospheric Sciences, Air Traffic Control, or other aviation-related fields are eligible to apply. Scholarships can be used at local Part 61 Flight Schools.
Eligibility Requirements
- High School Juniors, Seniors, or recent GED recipients
- Current student 16-22 years old
- Plans to attend post/secondary education or flight training in North Dakota
- Exhibits leadership, self-motivation, respect for others, honesty, and dependability
- Educational focus of: Professional Pilot, Aviation Maintenance, Aviation Engineering, Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Airport Management, Atmospheric Sciences, Air Traffic Control, or other related aviation fields.
