Scholarship Description

The International Society of Women Airline Pilots (ISA+21) offers scholarships to promote the advancement of women in airline flight decks worldwide. The successful candidate will train for eight days with Flight Training International in Miami, FL, Denver, CO or Dallas, TX. Funds will be paid directly to FTI and training must be completed within 18 months. The recipients of the airline type rating scholarship are responsible for all travel, housing, and personal expenses during training.

Eligibility Requirements

1. Must be a member of WAI.
2. Must be a female.
3. Must have a minimum of 3,000 hours total time including at least 500 hours of multi-engine turbine time.
4. Must posses an Airline Transport Pilot License and current First Class Medical certificate.
