ISA+21 Airline Type Rating Scholarship 2026
Scholarship Description
The International Society of Women Airline Pilots (ISA+21) offers scholarships to promote the advancement of women in airline flight decks worldwide. ISA+21 will award a minimum of one type rating (B737 or A320),
valued at $10,000, to a member of WAI. The successful candidate will undergo eight days of training with Flight Training International (FTI) in either Miami, Florida, or Denver, Colorado. Funds will be paid directly to
FTI, and training must be completed within 18 months.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Must be a member of WAI.
2. Must be a female.
3. Must have a minimum of 3,000 hours total time including at least 500 hours of multi-engine turbine time.
4. Must posses an Airline Transport Pilot License and current First Class Medical certificate.
