Pratt & Whitney Engine Maintenance Training Scholarship
Scholarship Description
Pratt & Whitney is offering six engine maintenance training scholarships to individuals working to become A&P mechanics.
There are two training options to choose from: (1) Instructor-led Pratt & Whitney commercial engine maintenance training course (remote or in-person) OR (2) Instructor-led Pratt & Whitney Canada engine maintenance training course (in-person) offered by Flight Safety International.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Must be an active AWAM member.
2. Must be a student close to finishing Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) schooling and obtaining their Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license OR a recent graduate of AMT school who has obtained their A&P license.
3. Applicant cannot be a previous Pratt & Whitney Engine Maintenance Training Scholarship recipient.
4. Applicants cannot be a government official (i.e., active-duty military, an active reservist or part of the National Guard).
