GAMA Edward W. Stimpson Aviation Excellence Award
Scholarship Description
GAMA offers this scholarship annually as part of its commitment to advancing careers in general aviation. The scholarship is awarded to a graduating U.S. high school senior who has been accepted to and will be enrolled in an aviation degree core program at the student’s chosen college/university.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Must be a current student at a U.S. high school, graduating in the spring the award is given.
2. Must be accepted to and enrolling in an institution for an aviation-related degree program (e.g., flight training, aviation management, aerospace engineering, aviation maintenance).
3. Have a 3.0 or better grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
