Chuck Freeland Memorial Scholarship for Flight Training
Scholarship Description
Named in memory of Chuck Freeland, former AEA board member and secretary, this scholarship is available to employees of AEA member companies who plan to pursue a recreational or private pilot certificate.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Must be employed by an AEA Member for no less than one year.
2. Award money is to be used for achieving PRIVATE PILOT CERTIFICATE. The award money is not intended for use in achieving any other rating or certificate.
3. Award money is to be used for flight training costs only.
4. Award recipient must plan to pursue a PRIVATE PILOT CERTIFICATE within six months of receiving scholarship.
5. Award money will be sent to applicant’s employer for disbursement.
