Scholarship Description
The Boeing Scholars program is an initiative of The Boeing Company to develop qualified students for careers in aviation, with a special interest in aeronautical science and aviation maintenance science.
The scholarship’s financial award is $7,500/year for two years with more than one (1) scholarship amount being offered, number of student to receive the scholarship differs each year based on application selection. Boeing Scholars, who remain part of a special cohort throughout their career at Embry‑Riddle, will have access to additional benefits, including, but not limited to:
- Group projects
- Trips to Boeing facilities
- Potential internship opportunities
- Formal mentorship and/or other opportunities to informally connect with Boeing employees
- Invitations to receptions and other events
Eligibility Requirements
As a candidate for an Embry-Riddle Boeing Scholars Scholarship, the scholarship selection committee will review your academic records, standardized test scores, GPA, class placement, co-curricular and leadership activities, community service, and the scholarship application essay as part of the criteria; you must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If selected the individual will have the opportunity to participate in both Embry-Riddle and Boeing leadership programs for the 4 years you are pursuing your degree. You must maintain a 3.0 GPA between your Freshmen and Sophomore year and be a full-time student at Embry-Riddle to retain the scholarship the second year. This application is open for first-year college students who plan on attending one of Embry-Riddle’s residential campuses starting the fall semester.
