Russ Cotney and Lauren Cotney Vietry Professional Airline Pilot Career Scholarship
Scholarship Description
This scholarship is established in honor of Maj. Gen. (Ret.) William Russell Cotney in recognition of his 40 years of meritorious service to his country in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard and in honor of his daughter, Lauren Cotney, who, following in her father’s footsteps, is distinguishing herself as a pilot for Delta Air Lines and in her service to her country as a member of the Air National Guard.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Must be an active member of WAI.
2. Must be a female pursuing a professional airline pilot career.
3. Must be enrolled as a junior, senior, or graduate-level student at an accredited college or university in an aviation, engineering, or aeronautical science program.
