American Airlines Engineering Scholarship
Scholarship Description
American Airlines will award two $7,500 scholarships to a student pursuing a degree in Engineering with a passion to work in the airline/aviation industry. Candidates will be evaluated on academic standing, personal accomplishments, teamwork, leadership skills and community service involvement and future career aspirations.
American Airlines’ Technical Operations divisions are vital to the company’s commitment to provide safe, dependable, and friendly air transportation to their customers. As such, they seek to attract top maintenance talent who share their passion and interest in the aviation industry.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a WAI member.
- GPA must be 3.0 or higher, enrolled in an accredited U.S. engineering program through a college or university.
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
