Scholarship Description

Mead & Hunt is proud to offer the Non-Traditional/Returning Student Scholarship to incoming or current college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who are planning to pursue a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in an Architecture/Engineering/Construction field.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. I am considered a non-traditional/returning student. *Students are usually 24 and older and have recently enrolled or are planning to enroll next year as a part-time or full-time college student planning to study and receive a 2-year or 4-year degree in the AEC industry.
  2. Applicant must be enrolled in or planning to attend an accredited four-year college or university or a two-year accredited junior or community college, or vocational or technical institution in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree in an A/E/C related field.
  3. The applicant must be enrolled full-time in a school based in the United States.
  4. Students who have been referred by a Mead & Hunt employee must disclose who referred them so we can provide a fair judging process.
  5. Application form outlining academic standing, extra-curricular activities, work experience, and colleges and/or technical schools applied to.
  6. Essay of no more than 500 words that addresses the following: Share about your journey back to college to study in the A/E/C industry and how you hope to put people first in your professional life.
  7. One letter of reference from non-family members (must be current as of the past 6 months).
  8. Unofficial transcript.
