The Daniel Widdows Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship Description
The Widdows family is offering a $3000 USD scholarship to celebrate the life and accomplishments of Capt. Daniel Widdows who distinguished himself as a pilot for Southern Air Cargo as a captain, instructor and check airman, as well as helping to establish the Southern Air Boeing 777 program. He was a leader who believed in living life to the fullest and will be remembered as a mentor to many, giving of himself and his time to help fellow aviators as they pursued their dreams.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Must be an active member of WAI.
2. Must be enrolled (or committed to attending) an accredited institution (includes two- and four-year colleges, technical institutes, and certificate programs) in one or both of the following areas: flight training (any phase) and/or aviation maintenance.
